My Dad really needs prayer. His wife (my Step-Mother) has suddenly decided that she doesn’t love him anymore. She refuses to try marriage counseling and just wants a divorce. My Dad is devastated, and has gone on medication for anxiety because he has panic attacks whenever he has to see her or go back to the house (he’s renting a room somewhere else in town now). There are 6 of their kids involved (including me), and four of them still live at home. My Dad is heartbroken that he doesn’t get to live with them anymore, though he does have full visitation rights.

Please put him in your prayers. He really needs all the help he can get! (he’s not Catholic, so prayers for his conversion would also be helpful)

Saint Rita pray for him

“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls.”
“My Jesus, pardon and mercy, by the merits of Thy Holy Wounds.”

Praying for your dad and his wife. All things are possible with God. There are many lives at stake with the decisions that will be made and I pray that they know the Lord has plans for all of them, to give them hope and a future.

Praying for your father.
God, remove all evil things from
his path and grant him strength.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother!

To thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions,

but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, please comfort vashsunglasses’ father’s relationship in accord with Your holy and perfect will. May Your sacrament of matrimony be honored. Amen. :signofcross:
