UPDATE:The surgery went really well yesterday and my daughter is doing well. The tumor was removed along with the whole thyroid. The tumor was encapsulated and the lymph nodes did not look cancerous though they took some out to analyze to be sure. Right now, it’s looking like this is the end of the cancer, so that there will be no need for chemotherapy.
Thanks so much for all your prayers. I know God will reward you.

Update: The surgeon removed the lymph nodes closest to the thyroid during surgery. They were cancerous. So within the next several months my daughter will need additional imaging using radioactive iodine, to see if the cancer has metastasized
