Hi everyone,

Please pray for my 6-year-old dog, Ruby, who hasn’t eaten in three days (thankfully, she is drinking!), and is very weak. If she isn’t better tomorrow, my Mom is going to take her to the vet. Thank you!

Prayer for Pets

Heavenly Father,
Please help us in our time of need,
You have made us stewards of Ruby.
If it is Your will, please restore her
to health and strength.
I pray too for other animals in need.
May they be treated with the care and respect
deserving of all Your creation.
Blessed are You Lord God,
and holy is Your name for ever and ever
Amen

Saint Francis of Assisi, for Sick Animals

Heavenly Father, you created all things for your glory and made us stewards of this creature. If it is your will, restore Ruby to health and strength. Blessed are you, Lord God, and holy is your name for ever and ever. Amen.

(I love animals and am owned by two rescue cats. One of my aunts was a Franciscan Sister for 59 years before her passing. Praying for you and asking for intercessory prayer. Keep us posted). :hug1:

O Blessed Saint Roch, patron of dogs, have pity on those animals who lie upon a bed of suffering. Your power was so great when you were in this world, that by the Sign of the Cross, many–both man and animal–were healed of their diseases. Now that you are in Heaven, your power is not less. Offer, then, to God our sighs and tears and obtain for us the health of the dog, Ruby. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saint Roch, pray for Ruby, that she may be preserved from all diseases of the body and soul.

Praying for dear Ruby and that God comforts you and give you strength.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying for the good health of your pet Ruby.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
