My beloved dog who has had Arthritis for years has been on medication for a few months because of some issues with her back leg giving out at times. Today, she fell because one of her front legs also gave out. She has not been able to walk since and I’m terrified that this is the end and we will have to put her down. Please pray for her.

Even though your dog is not human, it is still a great tragedy that she, and any other living thing, has to endure the consequences of original sin, as in the forms of illness and injury. I truly hope and pray that her pain and affliction may be alleviated and healed, and that you and her vets may take the best course of action for her sake, even if that means putting her to sleep. I also pray that you may be consoled during this time, and may see that in the care and compassion you have for your dog, you are expressing something uniquely human: the God-given gift of charity which we can express even towards non-humans, just as God loves all His creations. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your guardian angel, and St. Francis of Assisi. God bless. 🙂

Hail Holy Queen

Mother of Mercy, Our Life, Our Sweetness and Our Hope

To Thee Do We Cry, Poor Banished Children of Eve

To Thee Do We Send Up Our Sighs

Mourning and Weeping in this Valley of Tears.

Turn, then, Most Gracious Advocate

Thine Eyes of Mercy Towards Us

And After This, Our Exile, Show Unto Us

The Blessed Fruit of Thy Womb,

Jesus.

O Clement, O Loving, O Sweet

Virgin Mary.

Amen.

Said a prayer for your dog, and for you.

God bless you both.

Praying for you and your lovely dog. God bless your kind heart.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for this poster and her pet. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. It means a lot.

Unfortunately, my dog was put to sleep this morning. Although I’m heartbroken, I’m so thankful for the 11 years she blessed me with. I’m glad she’s not suffering anymore.

St. Francis, and the patron of arthritic patients, pray for us.

I’m so sorry. I do hope you go adopt a dog that needs a home. Praying for you.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.
