Please pray for my ex

My ex, the father of my 2 children (one is 5, one is 4), is an alcoholic and abuses drugs. When he does this, he gets violent. He is now in big trouble with the law due to these problems.

I’m praying straighten out his life.
 
Praying for him, you, and your children.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

I am praying for your ex. Praying he will get the help he needs. I am also praying for you and your children, may you all find peace through this. :signofcross:

I know how difficult these situations can be. I am praying that God will help your ex WANT to seek help and get his life turned around. Plelase God, help her ex get the help he so desperately needs…
 
To St. Joseph for Protection

take this cause to the Father with us.
We ask that this earthly father be healed
of his addictions. We pray for him to
learn how to be a father for these children.
We pray then that you protect this family
from all evil as you did the Holy Family.

You know, sometimes things seem to get worse before getting better. He has asked me if he can stay with us and I had to stand my ground and refuse him. I just don’t feel that is the best thing for our kids.

Perfectly understandable…why put yourself and your children in harms way. When they are on drugs and drinking they are not rational. God bless you and yours. I’ll be keeping you in prayer.
