I am a contact lense wearer and am very myopic. I have an eye problem that has been going on for several months now. I am unable to see properly with the eye glasses I was prescribed and they are giving me veritgo and headaches . When I went back to the optician, I have since found out that he is not an optican but a tech support person, he was not interested in addressing my problem. He was very brief with me and rude. He insisted that the problem was not the glasses and told me to see an MD. He would not help me and ushered me out the door.

I when to another optician and she found several problem with my prescription. She told me to have you doctor redo the eye exam.

I have complained to the office and they all see me again today. Please pray that my doctor, not the tech can help me find the problem with my perscription so that I can see again. It’s been 4 week without eyesight and I’m beginning to feel very depressed and anxious.

The doctor visit went well. He agreed that my eyeglasses were too strong and gave me a new script. He did a thorough eye exam and told me I still have GPC but that it was looking better in one eye. He told me I have a huge floater in my right eye. That explains the tea stain that i see when trying to read. He said I have the beginnings of cataracts. That explains my need for more light and the yellowing of my sight and the halo and bad night vision.

He gave me a new pair of contact lenses to try and that I can still use the steroid until my eyes feel ok then try the contacts after I stop using steroids.

I am less anxious now and feel I have a good doctor. God bless my Doctor.
