Please pray for God to give me the grace of faith. I’ve been in a very spiritually dry place for a long time. I rarely go to Mass, I don’t pray like I should, and I struggle with doubts and sin.

I will definitely pray for you.

Just a gentle piece of advice: Come back to the sacraments. Go to Confession and then partake of our Lord in the Eucharist. I’ve been in your shoes so I know how tough it is. Although I know it’s hard, it won’t get easier by staying away. I honestly think dryness is a struggle everyone will struggle with here and there throughout their lives. Sometimes we will lose that fiery passionate feeling, but in those times we need to live out our commitment. If you’re married, you can probably relate. There are moments where we might not neccessarily feel over the moon in love with our spouse. However, we know we do love them, and still give them the respect, love, and devotion that they’re due. This might be a poor way of explaining it. Anyway, I’m praying for you:)

God Bless!

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Amen.
We pray in love and fellowship as a family for our brother Tallguy88.

We have a little prayer chain on this forum where we all agreed to pray usually one decade of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the needs and intentions of our many brothers and sisters here on CAF. I invite you to go to the chain thread and join–we don’t take roll or anything–it’s just our own little way of offering a lot of prayers at once. But either way, whether you wish to join or not, may I add you to our intention list? God bless!:signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Sure, put me on it, thanks. Do you have a link so I can participate?

As Catholics, weekly mass, and on Holy Days of Obligation, are mandatory. Going to weekly mass will, probably, help you with faith.

You need the sacraments, now more than ever. I once knew a guy who was having nightmares for years! After he received his First Communion, the night terrors stopped!

Some have doubts about the mass, the Eucharist, but Jesus, himself, gave us all this to help us. We NEED the Church! I thought I could make it to God without it. Wow, was I ever wrong! That’s why he set it up.

In fact, it’s so difficult to get to heaven without the Church, and sacraments, that it’s practically impossible!

Please, return to mass! Even if you don’t receive communion or any other sacraments right now, it’s VERY important you go. Each time you miss is a mortal sin!

If you have lost your faith, TRY to get it back! Do everything within your power! Then, once you have found it, never let it go ever again!

Almighty, ever-living God, You give strength to the weary and new courage to those who have lost heart. Hear the prayers of all who call on You in any trouble that they may have the joy of receiving Your help in their need. Amen.

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.
Amen.
