My husband is a crack cocaine addict. He has stayed close to the church when he is in recovery, but he continues to relapse. This has been a long and difficult struggle. I am strong in my faith and pray many novenas.

He is relapsing again and his whereabouts are unknown, and have been since he left in the night about 8 days ago. I can only see that he is still alive by the credit card activity that he is creating.

I am very sorrowful, yet I have to be strong. I financially cannot endure his continued relapses and have filed for divorce. This has been a 21 year marriage and we have a 10 year old son. I will continue to live as a married woman, but I do not know that he will agree that we are still married in the eyes of God’s church.

He has struggled with recovery now from this addiction for at least 5 years. It has come time for me to not allow him to come home. Even if he goes into treatment again.

During this same time my dear sister who suffers from bipolar disorder has been hospitalized 4 times in the last month with a manic episode (first one in 5 years and the worst one ever).

Sometimes I feel so alone, yet know God is holding me.
Please pray for my families healing! Thank you!

Your suffering is great and you are in my prayers. Your intentions will be part of my mass intention tomorrow morning. May the Lord give you strength.

I have a husband who has struggled with a drug addiction. I know first hand, the emotional and financial devastation it can wreak on a marriage.:console:

I pray that the Lord will comfort you and uphold you during this time of seeming endless uncertainty, not only for him, but for yourself and your future.

I pray that you may surrender your fears, and leave them in God’s mighty and capable hands.

I pray that your husband may be healed of his addictions.

I have a ten yr old son, too. I pray for your little boy, that he will be able to witness the incredible mighty healing love of God!

May Wisdom be your guide as you are confronted with these difficult and painful decisions.

If the credit card is in your name, cancel it now. It would be an act of love.

God bless you

Father, guide this woman as she takes
the necessary steps for the safety and health
of her son and herself.
Give her the strength to overcome all of this.
Heal her sister of the mental disorders.
Allow her guardian angel to comfort, defend,
and protect her. Hold her up when she
feels like she is falling.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.
AMEN

zach(name removed by moderator), I am so sorry for what you are going through. I pray that Our Lord will bring you peace of mind and heart. I pray that God will watch over your husband, guide and protect him and heal him to of his addiction. Thank you, Lord, for all that you are going to do. Amen!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers…today I have already seen an improvement in my sister, thanks be to God!

My husband on the other hand, I haven’t heard from yet. But I know the Lord is working and will allow me to see what He’s done eventually.
