Please pray for my father who has cancer

Please if you can spare one minute say a quick prayer for my father who was just diagnosed with kidney cancer. I just found out last week he has cancer and now it seems it’s all starting to go downhill. He just went into the ER for high blood sugar and a high white blood cell count. I would appreciate any prayer warriors out there! My father’s name is Bob.
 
Holy Father, may your hands of kindness descend upon Bob during this, his time of need. AMEN
 
Hello CatholicTina-I will pray for ur father-Bob. Now this message i just read is from Sept 2012. Since am new to Catholic Answers am still going through the whole program as listed here. My son, Chris was Army for 9 years where such activities slowly creeped into his life to give him Acute Myoloid Leuckemia. Our Lord called him Nov. 2009-he was 33.
My close friend Rosie was called forth from her struggle with Ovarian Cancer this last April 2013-she was 65! If ur Dad is still in this crisis situation i will remember him in pray-and u also because u need prays for strength. God Bless John Manuel
 
Heavenly Father, we pray for our brother that his body will overcome this disease. We ask that Your Holy Spirit comfort him and his family in this urgent time of need. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
 
Lord, please touch Bob with your merciful, healing, divine hand. Free him from all afflictions, physical and spiritual. Comfort him with many graces during this trying matter. Comfort also the family and Tina with angelic ministers throughout this matter. Hear all their prayers in union with your Passion. Lead them through the mystery of suffering close to your Sacred Heart, now and forever. Our Lady, pray with us. Amen.

I posted this almost two years ago and I wanted to follow up for you wonderful people who prayed for my dad. Just a few weeks after I posted he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and things weren’t looking good. One year after finishing chemo and radiation and he is still completely cancer free. I can’t thank you enough for your kind words and prayers.
