Lord, I don’t always understand your ways. I don’t know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish their spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort them with your presence.

I was feeling really down yesterday and today. Went to visit my parents and then spent an hour with Jesus at a nearby Adoration Chapel…and am feeling so much better. Prayed for all of you. Thanks Rossco, Friday Child, the Phoenix…you are a true blessing for me in my time of need.

Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek a miracle healing from cancer for my father, Manuel. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen.
