Hello,
I would just like to ask for prayers for my Friend’s Family and the repose of his soul. He passed away just a few days ago. Today is his visitation. He was only 22 and he died suddenly, and we don’t know what exactly caused it.
Unfortunately, I was volunteering that night in the ER and witnessed the whole ordeal, as they attempted to revive him. I don’t know why I was there to witness a friend die, and it feels very surreal. I’m trying to see why God wanted me there, since I don’t usually volunteer on those nights. That final image of him after they called it will be in my memory forever. It hurts. It was very traumatic.
I just hope this visitation and upcoming funeral will bring a new final image, and one more peaceful and comforting. Work is cooperating right now, but I hope they will let me miss tomorrow. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to keep my composure.
I was told I need to talk to the parents and console them, telling them of the good impact he had on all of us. I can’t imagine how the mother or father are feeling. But I just pray I that I have the strength to tell them.
Peace & Thank You.
