Please pray for my friend in Stage 4 cancer

Hello all,
I would greatly appreciate your prayers for my friend Mike. He has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is scheduled for major surgery on Monday, Feb 4 to correct a problem with a blockage. He is 59 years old.

He has a positive attitude and is a good Christian man who also had his mother die earlier in the week, so it’s been a very tough week for him and his family. He is not Catholic, but he is a Methodist who sincerely loves and serves Jesus Christ to the best of his ability. May the Lord’s will be done. 🙏. Thanks again to the CAF prayer team. Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus
as the Divine Healer. Great Wonder Worker, in your
kindness, please intercede for Mike, who has Stage 4
cancer. Please pray:

that Mike may receive the gift of healing.
that God will comfort Mike during times of unbearable pain.
that God will grant peace and patience in suffering.
that God will give Mike the fullness of life here on earth or call him home to eternal glory.

Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Tommy999’s friend). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into a member of Tommy999’s friend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for co-worker, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Prayer to St. Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Helli all,
Just wanted to report that Mike is back home resting now after surgery to insert a stint to get around a blockage in the stomach/colon entrance that was being caused by the tumor’s growth.
He starts immunotherapy soon. I’d appreciate if you could continue to lift him up in prayer. He’s a good man who loves Our Lord and serves him as best he knows how. I’d also appreciate if you could pray for his wife and daughter, who are nice, moral people but are very secular and not Christians. Mike was the first in the family to seek after God
