Please pray for my friend who is feeling suicidal

Hi everyone!

Can you please pray for my friend who is feeling suicidal? She is having problems with her parents, and told me the only thing keeping her from committing suicide is she isn’t ready to face God with her parents being mad at her (she is Muslim). Thank you so much!!

Lord, our God,

You graciously chose St. Dymphna as
patroness of those afflicted with mental,
emotional, and nervous disorders.
She is thus an inspiration and
a symbol of charity to the thousands
who ask for her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers
of this pure youthful martyr, relief and
consolation to all suffering such trials,
and especially for SnowAngels’ friend,
for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers
of St. Dymphna on her behalf. Grant
SnowAngels’ friend, for whom we pray,
patience in her sufferings and resignation
to Your divine will. Please fill her with hope,
and grant her the relief and cure she so desires.

We ask this through Christ our Lord,
who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

A Prayer for the Mentally Ill

Loving God, You are always near to us,
especially when we are weak, suffering
and vulnerable. Please reach out
to those who experience mental illness.
Lift their burdens, calm their anxiety,
and quiet their fears. Surround them with
Your healing presence that they may know
that they are not alone. We ask this through
the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes
and in the name of your Son, Jesus,
and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (SnowAngels’ friend), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen Crusaderbear. I am praying again for this intention and adding a suicide loss I took this month. My friend who died of suspected suicide has a memorial and prayer service this evening.
 
Praying for all those struggling with dispair. May they turn to Our Lord for solace and comfort and find healing in His presence.

Praying for your friend, and for you too for having the will to reach out for help in this time of need ,
 
Praying for your friend that she may seek treatment for suicidal thoughts and ask for help with her problem with her parents if she is feeling in such despair over the issue.

May the family be granted peace and harmony and any tensions relieved.

I know the feeling is someone who has had recurrent suicidal thoughts and a suicide in my family. I am praying.
 
PRAYER FOR A SUICIDAL FRIEND.

Lord, I come before You with a heavy heart for my friend.
She is struggling so much right now
with the things happening in her life.
I know You can be her greatest comfort.
I know You can step in and make a difference.
Show me how I can best help her.
Give me the words and actions
that will keep her from taking that ultimate step of suicide, Lord.
Let her see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel
and that suicide is not the route to take.
Lord, let Your presence be felt in her life
and let your comfort be what she needs.

Praying. She is asking for help. Sometimes we need to get those who can help us involved to save a friend.
 
Praying …

You expired, O Jesus,
but the source of life gushed forth for souls
and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life,
unfathomable Divine Mercy,
envelop the whole world
and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fount of mercy for us,
I trust in You.
