Please pray for my friend, widowed today

Please pray for my friend who very unexpectedly lost her husband today. She has three school-age children who also need our prayers. May our prayers give them peace and help them find solace in the embrace of our Lord.
 
Loving God,

We lift the intentions tonight of Sanzoles for a beloved friend who lost her husband today. We pray that Jesus may carry the dear husband home to the place He has prepared for him and that the loving family may receive the peace and comfort of your consoling and comforting Holy Spirit during this extremely challenging time in their lives. Please give the family the strength and courage to persevere and grant them your grace and mercy in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. We do not understand why you present us with the opportunities for suffering many times in our lives, dear Lord, but we ask you to help this family carry the Cross with a strong faith and hope in You. Please help them to accept your will and grant them the peace of knowing dear Father is praying for them from a beautiful place, even though it is very hard to bear the separation at this time.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who live and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord God, please Bless this woman with your Divine Consolation at the loss of her husband. Give her the strength to turn to You, Lord God, if You so will it, and allow her to have an assurity of Your will for her. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.
 
Lord, please receive this man’s soul into Your merciful love.

Dear Lord, losing one’s spouse, and for the children to lose their father is a huge ongoing loss. Please take this shocked and grieving family into Your care and provide all that they need. Please heal them in mutual love and support. Please heal their lives and surround them with Your light and love.

I will remember the family at Mass.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughtful prayers. This loving family needs all our prayers as they begin their lives without their best friend and Dad. Mom cannot imagine being able to keep her family ‘together’ and wants only to speak to her husband; the kids just want to hug Dad. Please continue to pray for them and the soul of their beloved Dad.
