Please pray for my friend with cancer

My friend Elba has been fighting non Hodgkins lymphoma for about 15 months now…When she went for her regular radiation treatment on Monday, they kept her in hospital, as she is very dehydrated and in a great deal of pain.
Please pray for her family, too. She is the heart of her whole family…Her husband (Joe) is exhausted, especially. (He also has the same cancer, but a less aggressive case, however as you can imagine, he is not as strong as he was when he was in full health.

Powerful Jesus, please lay your healing hand on Elba and Joe in their suffering. You are more powerful than any disease or despair. Comfort and keep them. Hear our prayers along with Mary our Mother, St. Peregrine, and all the angels and saints. Amen!

Elba is nearing the end of her earthly life…
She is at home, and is sleeping most of the time. Her family is gathered around her…

Thanks to all who have prayed; please continue prayers for her and for all who love her…This is a very sad time for our entire church and community; this is a woman who is greatly loved by all of us who have had the privilege of knowing her…

I’m sorry to hear about your friends. Please know that I am praying for them and that I will include them in my prayers at mass tomorrow. God bless them both.
