Please pray for my friend

I just found out yesterday that one of my friends, A., will not be able to graduate with the rest of her high school class. She will be allowed to walk in the ceremony, but she has to attend summer school to receive her diploma.

She has had a very rough year. Her parents got a divorce, she has gotten chronic bronchitis, and she has to pay her own medical expenses because her parents can’t afford it. She works very hard, at the beginning of the year she was working, taking two AP classes in high school, and three college courses. She did poorly in one class near the beginning of this year, but she managed to bring her grades up to where they needed to be. However, she had too many absences due to illness, and she was not aware that she had exceeded the limit until after the deadline for attendence appeals.

Please pray that she will be able to get into the summer school classes she needs to get her diploma, I have heard that there isn’t a good chance because the classes filled up so fast. She needs to be able to close this chapter of her life and move on the better things and easier times.

Thank you for your prayers, they brought results way beyond what I imagined. She asked the administration again to verify her attendance record, and when they recounted, they discovered that she had just barely met the attendance requirements. So, she was able to not only participate in the ceremony, but she got her diploma as well. If she had just on more tardy in one class she would have needed summer school.

Thank you again for all your prayers, I am so overjoyed that God has blessed my friend so much today.
