I’ve had a relationship with this person for 2 years, and he led me in the direction to completely change my life around. I was a very uncaring atheist when I met him, but over the two years I’ve known him I have gradually become catholic once again. I am very much absorbed in catholic faith now and I am so grateful to have had this person in my life to lead me to God and I believe God sent him to me.
However, I have noticed that my friend has gradually started sinning more and more and dropping his catholic values. He constantly lies, he makes me feel very unloved, and he says that he doesn’t care about love and he only wants lust. We have almost always wanted to marry each other, and despite his meanness, he still sometimes says he feels like he is supposed to marry me. He is very cold to me, and he often tells me to “shut up” and gets angry at me very often for reasons that are just plain silly to me.
He was recently demanding that I sleep with a bunch of other men or he’d leave, and I focused on that in my prayers and a couple of days ago he told me he doesn’t want me to do that anymore, so I feel that God is listening to my prayers and He wants me to stay around this person. He is still very cold to me and he is still not being obedient to God, but I really want to help him find God again, like he helped me. I really love this man and I think God is giving me the strength to stay around and try to help him and give him real love. I would be very grateful if you all would add him to your prayers.
