Please pray for my friend

I have a very dear friend that is like a sister to me. She has recently started a relationship with a man who is an atheist and has a mean spirit about him. I have seen evidence of his unkindness, but my friend will not listen. I fear for her because I know he is presenting himself as a wonderful person, and she is being deceived. The fear is that she will be sucked into his negative thinking pattern instead of letting her faith in God guide her to someone with a Christian mind. We have grown apart because of this, and I pray reverantly for her to see the light. Would you please join me in this?

Oh, I can’t tell you how grateful and blessed I feel to have found this site. I am new here, and I was afraid to start typing. I am sobbing as I read your replies. I believe in the power of prayer, and I know that when we pray together, it is very powerful. Thank you, thank you, thank you for praying for my friend.

Good the notice the whimsy in the name you chose, despite the anxiety that you feel for your friend who is unknowingly set herself up for several kinds of unhappiness…

Loving Father we know that people who are caught up in an attraction often can’t listen to others and in fact become more resolved on their course if we try to interfere…but we try to do what we can.
Please behold the sadness in GottaRun’s anxiety regarding her friend’s personal and religious potential danger, and reward her prayers and hurt with the protection of her friend herescape of her friend from this unhealthy attraction, if not now, then soon, before things become more serious.

Please surround her friend, and GottaRun, with Your light and love.

Your prayers are a comfort to me, and I thank you again for praying for her. Please continue to pray for her on a daily basis if at all possible. I firmly believe that our prayers will deliver her from this. Her name is Peg. I always like to mention the name in my prayers.
