**Prayer for the sick **
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Paul,
who is suffering from an aggressive form of skin cancer.
We implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
Paul may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Prayer to St. Anthony for Those Suffering With Cancer
Dear St. Anthony the Wonder Worker, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Paul, who is suffering from an aggressive form of skin cancer. If it is God’s will, grant Paul the gift of healing. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give Paul the fullness of life here on earth. And when Paul’s journey on earth is through call home to eternal glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER FOR TRUST IN JESUS
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

He, and you, have my prayers.
“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
“I plead with you! Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
“If He asks much of you, it is because He knows you can give much.”

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

I’m Cleansebyfire’s wife, and Paul’s friend as well. I’ve known Paul for over twenty years, and this is a blow to all of us.
Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine, you answered the divine call with a ready spirit, and forsook all the comforts of a life of ease and all the empty honors of the world to dedicate yourself to God in the Order of His holy Mother.
You labored manfully for the salvation of souls. In union with Jesus crucified, you endured painful sufferings with such patience as to deserve to be healed miraculously of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch of His divine hand.
Obtain for me the grace to answer every call of God and to fulfill His will in all the events of life. Enkindle in my heart a consuming zeal for the salvation of all men.
Deliver me from the infirmities that afflict my body Paul Wein.
Obtain for me also a perfect resignation to the sufferings it may please God to send me, so that, imitating our crucified Savior and His sorrowful Mother, I may merit eternal glory in heaven.
St. Peregrine, pray for me and for all who invoke your aid.
