I had this close relationship with a seminarian who is now a priest. He was ordained months ago. A year ago, he just suddenly cut ties with me. Many months before he became a priest, we were really close friends. He waited for me after class, he texted me often, he brought me food, we had lunch together everyday, he went to our house often and he spoiled me like a kid. He acted like a pseudo boyfriend. He was overprotective of me. And of course, I fell for him. But I did not do anything to let him know about my feelings. I just kept everything to myself. We went like this for almost 6 months everyday. 😊

He then suddenly cut ties. He suddenly became very cold and didn’t want to talk to me anymore. He let our common friend talk to me and let me know that he and I suddenly cannot be friends anymore and that we had to stop seeing each other. He said that from then, i would just be a student and he a minister, no more no less. 😦

Months after having no contact, he was then ordained as a deacon then as a priest.

So I followed what had to be done. I stopped talking to him but still attended the masses he celebrated. I couldn’t just stop serving because I was a part of the choir there and my intentions were to serve God. But something triggered me to stop seeing him. It was because of his homily 2 weeks ago. I knew it was already too personal because he looked at me directly before uttering his homily which he would not usually do since he avoids me often. He said, “I cut the relationship because I want to educate the person. I cut the relationship because I want us both to think separately from each other.” He went around with that many of times in his homily. He even mentioned about being a temptation to his vocation. I didn’t want anything anymore from him. I just wanted to serve God there. I just wanted peace with him. Well with what I recently experienced, I felt that I had to step down and be the one to leave even if it hurt me. Instead of serving there where he also served, I now serve in the choir of another catholic church. I still love God and am still a full pledged catholic even with those things that have happened. I am at a loss of words for those who ask me why I suddenly stopped serving in that chapel. Kind of confused now.

What do I do now? Am I in sin? I am hoping for your advise and prayers. Thank you so much for your time. 🙂

Lord, please touch this weary heart with your healing hand and mend all wounds, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Grant the love of Our Lady to fill any void in this soul’s heart. Send angels to guide and minister to pandajc always. Grant pandajc also many graces for faith, hope, love, joy, temperance, and faith. Somehow, through the mystery of suffering, raise clarity and hope in this soul’s heart, ever drawing her toward the eternal garden of life. Lead this soul into the lives of others to whom she can be a light and source of grace and them for her. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother

Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us,
give your aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace,
console the lonely or brokenhearted,
comfort the lost or hopeless,
guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger,
and guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
Amen

May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and his holy and Blessed Mother enter into this situation with the Holy Spirit’s gifts of wisdom, discernment, and healing.

May the holy angels guide you to always put the Lord first in all things.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen. :signofcross:

**Holy Immaculate Mary,
help all who are in trouble.
Give courage to the faint-hearted,
console the sad,
heal the infirm,
pray for the people,
intercede for the clergy,
have a special care for nuns;
may all feel,
all enjoy your kind and powerful assistance,
all who now and always render and will render,
you honour,
and will offer you their petitions.
Hear all our prayers, O Mother,
and grant them all.
We are all your children:
Grant the prayers of your children.

Amen forever.**
