Thank you wina and AnneMary for your prayers, I really needed them today!

I had a breakdown at work, it was awful. I managed to tell them I wasn’t feeling well before the tears started to flow. I cried all the way home and on the phone with my husband. I don’t know what to do except pray and pray hard. I hate feeling like this. I know that the antidepressants will take a little time for me to start feeling the effects so this in between time is very hard.

I pray that my husband will come home and that he will choose our marriage over this other relationship. I know that God has a plan for each and everyone of us, but this is so hard for me. I have support from my husband’s family which I rely on alot, I don’t know how I will ever repay them. I also have all of you here at CAF who have given me much support which I am so thankful for.

Please keep us in your prayers. I will be talking to my husband later tonight about what happened today and where our relationship is going from here. I pray that God will be with both of us. I continue to have hope and faith that this marriage will be healed. May God Bless You!
Cassie, I am so sorry for your continued pain! :hug1:

More prayers are coming your way, and will continue! May the Holy Spirit guide you tonight in your conversation with your husband, and also may He open your husband’s heart to you, that he may realize the depth of your love and commitment to him.

Dear Lord, please heal this marriage. St Joseph, please intercede! :gopray:

just a note to let you know you are still in my prayers. You may not feel this way but you so strong to hold yourself together after breaking down. You were able to bring yourself out of it. I am so sorry for who hard things are for you, but know you are loved.

Oh, Cassie, I’m so sorry to hear things are particularly difficult these times. I know what it’s like waiting for medication to ‘kick in’. When I was diagnosed with OCD, I had to wait for about three weeks for the drugs to have a noticeable effect. Waiting is like being in a No Man’s Land of sorts.

For Cassie, her husband, her stepson, and all of her loved ones:
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place and seal them in Your Precious Blood. Please heal the marriage of Cassie and her husband and grant them the graces that they need to be grow in love of each other, of their loved ones, of their neighbour, of the Church, of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the Angels, Saints, Holy Souls in Heaven and Blessed Souls in Purgatory, and to grow in love of You most of all! Please also protect her stepson as he goes into battle. May he always believe in and practice his moral sense of duty. Lord, please have mercy and grant them and all of us Your great saving Grace! May Thy Eternal Will be done. Thank You, Lord!
Amen.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, in Your Motherly Care, please pray for them. Thank You!

God Bless, Cassie! 👋

Hi Cassie , I’m joining again in heartly prayers for you and your husband .
I’m sad and sorrowful to see that for the moment everything seems to fail , but I trust that God shall heal your relationship and restore your family . I’m about to pray Rosary and chaplet of Mercy and Forgiveness , you’ll be again in my prayer intention ( with Renata and many others passing through hardship and sad trials in their family life ) .
Lord, please comfort and guide Cassie through this whole situation . Let her see and feel that You are carrying her and her husband , that he can enjoy life with his wife and family again.
In Jesus healing Holy Name , Amen.

Cassie, you are still in my prayers, and I will be asking St. Joseph to pray with us for you. :crossrc: I am so sorry for your continued pain. 😦

I will also include your stepson in my prayers for our military deployed overseas. May our Lord grant them grace and courage, and may St. Michael the Archangel defend them in the day of battle.

Cassie,
I feel your pain. I will ask the Lord to give you strength to keep on carrying your cross. I have been in your shoes, I know first hand how difficult it can be.

Trust in the Lord, He will provide.

Thank you to all for your prayers. I have not been on the site for a couple of days because I was feeling really low and depressed. I did not want to get out of bed and I was crying non-stop. My husband was very concerned for my well-being and continues to be. My husband and I talked about what is happening to us and he told me that he loves me but he also loves the other woman, I am crushed! He says he is torn and confused. I have been praying hard as to what I should do. I have gone back and forth in my mind but I don’t see me leaving my husband yet. I know we can repair this marriage but we need help. I pray everyday that God will help us. We still love each other so I still have hope and faith that eventually we can be back together. I know this may take quite a bit of time, but I think if we split it will be a big mistake for both of us. We are both suffering from depression and I am getting treated for it, but my husband needs to get another opinion on his because I don’t think he has been diagnosed right. Please keep us in your prayers. I appreciate it and am very thankful for them because I know without them I probably would not be here right now. May God Bless You!

Cassie,
I wish I can take your hurt at least for one day. So you can be reminded of God’s love through the people that love you and surround you.

I will continue to pray for you.

Hugs and kisses!!!

Hi Cassie , I kept you in my Rosary prayer intention and I strongly hope that God will save and heal your marriage in a miraculous way .
May Lord remove any obstacles in the path of this marriage , let there be a fresh start in life for both . May Lord change him so that he can be restored to his family.
Cassie please be strong in faith and try to stop your tears , say always :“Lord Jesus , I entrust to Your sacred Heart my destiny and marriage . Jesus , I trust in You !”
In Jesus Holy Name , through bless intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help , Amen

Please pray that my husband will let Jesus Christ enter his heart and that he will give our marriage a chance. He will be coming back the 17th to talk and I pray that time has let him search his heart and realize that he would like to give this marriage a chance. I pray that this will be God’s will.
May God’s arms enfold you as one, ever bless your union, and keep you in faith.
Love and prayers for you both.

You are in every prayer and every intention. Stay strong and realize you are loved deeply. It might not feel like strength to you laying in bed but its just one step away from getting out of bed. Think you are not far off even though with the depression you feel you are miles away. We are all proud of how hard you work to stay together and fight for what you believe to be right. I envy your strength and dedication. Remember always that no matter how low you feel you are still loved by us and by God.

Thank you erazo, AnneMary, Hamish Angus, nahbios and rebusrms for your prayers and words of encouragement.

I made it through work without any incidents. I do not feel as depressed as I did this morning. I realize I have to take one day at a time and not worry so much about what I can’t control.

My husband called me this morning to make sure I was okay and to let me know that he is thinking of me. He knows exactly what I am going through but says he will not stop seeing this other woman because they work at the same place. I continue to pray for her because I know that if I carry anger towards her I will never heal or forgive.

After going through today, I am more convinced that my marriage can heal. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s just a feeling that is strong in me even though my husband is currently far away and is seeing someone else. We have come far in being closer than we were when he first wanted to get a divorce. At the beginning he would not even tell me he still loved me, now he tells me almost all the time and we have enjoyed the time we have spent together when he has been home. I will continue to hope and pray that he comes back to me and to his family. I know I may and have gotten hurt over this, but I will continue to believe even though I have had times when I have thought of quitting. God is always with me. May the Lord Bless You!

Dear Cassie89,

I just came across your thread today. I will be going to Adoration tonight and will pray for you and your husband. Your strength and faith are amazing. I pray that the Lord will help you through this and that you and your husband can be reconciled.:gopray:

Jaymie

P.S. Just out of curiosity, what is your husband’s job. Don’t answer if you don’t want - I’m just curious.

Jay53, first of all welcome to CAF and thank you for your prayers. My husband currently works as a mechanic on the pipeline.

Cassie, I don’t have any good words to comfort you but you can be sure that you and your husband are in my prayer
