although i am late in responding to this, i have read all of your posts, and i want you to know that all of my heart completely goes out to you, and bleeds and breaks for you. just from reading what you’ve written here, i can tell that you are such a beautiful, shining woman with a faith that serves as a brilliant light through all the darkness you’re going through that you definitely don’t deserve, and i admire you so much, and although i don’t know you, i love you and care about you and your pain, just as i love and care about everyone, and everyone on these forums. your strength shines through so clearly—your endurance—your love of God and of your husband—but it’s your faith and your willingness to trust God and turn to Him even through your deepest pain that amazes me the most. i can only pray to have the same trust and faith in God that you do. i hope and pray that someday soon i will. but for now, all i can do is let you know how beautiful you are, and that you are loved by me, by God, by everyone on here, and that you are far from alone in this. please know that i will be thinking of you constantly and keeping you in my deepest prayers, beginning with this one—

first, Lord, i pray that you would soften her husband’s heart and open it to the Truth of the Catholic Faith, that He will let Your precious Son, Jesus, enter His heart to change his life forever, heal him forever and fill him with love and light forever, and that cassie’s husband would give their marriage another chance, if this is Your will for both of them. i pray that You would make Your perfect Will of Love clear to cassie and her husband, so that they may follow the path You have lovingly set out for both of them. i pray that You would inspire cassie’s husband to search his heart and make the right decision for them both. i also pray that You would heal cassie’s husband completely of his depression, that You would reach out and touch his heart and fill it with Your Love and hope, Your light and strength, that he may realize how precious he is to You and how much he means to cassie. i pray that You would restore him completely and forever back to Yourself and back to cassie, and create in him a faith as beautiful and as trusting as cassie’s. i pray that You would inspire her husband to realize how much he is cared for and loved, and that this would give him hope and the inspiration to give their marriage another chance. please help him, Lord, to overcome his resentment over past events, and completely let it go so that he can move on and live a healthy life for Your glory. please show him that You are not the one responsible for his boys’ abuse, and let him know hope when it comes to their healing, and to his own. please show him, Lord, that he is worthy of love, and that You love him so much more than he could ever imagine or comprehend.

**Lord, i also pray now for cassie’s stepson, that he may be kept completely safe while he is overseas. let the prayers of everyone on here—including my own—continue to be a source of hope, faith, comfort and strength to cassie, so that she may continue to make it through each day placing her hope, faith, love and trust in You. Lord, please give cassie the answer as to what You want her to do, and make Your Will clear to her, so that she may obey. i have no doubt that she will obey whatever Your wishes are for her, Lord, knowing how much love, faith and trust she has in You. please be with john, Lord, and help him to see how much cassie is hurting and how much she still loves him. thank You so much, Lord, for preserving cassie’s mother’s life, and that while what happened was such a tragedy, it strengthened cassie and her family. cassie, please know that your story of all that you have been going through with john has truly touched my heart, and i will definitely pray this prayer for you tonight and every night, and whenever i get the chance. please know that i will be keeping you in my constant thoughts and deepest prayers, and that i have no doubt that God is with you and will strengthen both of you. i have no doubt, also, that there is hope for you and your marriage, and hope for john. i struggled with severe and chronic major depression, severe anxiety, social phobia, dysmythia, panic disorder and traits of borderline personality disorder for two and a half years, beginning at the age of twelve, but at the age of fifteen, on november 22, 2007, i was healed completely and forever when i gave my heart and all of myself to Jesus, and ever since i have known nothing but His hope and healing. i’m telling you this because i want you to know that i, too, have suffered from depression and pain, but i have trust that God will heal you both, as i have seen Him work miracles in my own life, and i trust that He will work a miracle in yours and in your marriage. cassie, your faith has strengthened and inspired me, and made me want to grow closer to God and pray more intimately with Him. you are truly an inspiration. please know that if you ever need anything at all, i am always here and will always care, so please don’t ever hesitate to contact me. stay strong, stay safe and take care of yourself.
