Please pray for my husband

My husband is feeling the pressure of his work, he is a self-employed electrical contractor, and other pressures from life, and has become depressed in a major way which includes drinking way too much. Also, his close friend of over 20 years died last Friday and now he has even more heaviness in his heart.

Would you be so kind as to say a prayer for him and even recommend him to St. Joseph for me? His name is Steve. I will also pray for all of you and offer your intentions to Mary’s Immaculate Heart.

I have been through the ringer this year also.
Let us all pray for the Church Militant which
seems like the Church Suffering lately.

of Lauds and Vespers.

Prayer to St. Joseph in time of Distress

We come to thee, O blessed Joseph, in our sore distress. Having sought the aid of thy most blessed spouse, we now confidently implore thy assistance also. We humbly beg that, mindful of the dutiful affection which bound thee to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and of the fatherly love with which thou didst cherish the Child Jesus, thou wilt lovingly watch over the heritage which Jesus Christ purchased with His blood, and by thy powerful intercession help us in our urgent need.

Most powerful guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen race of Jesus Christ; drive far from us, most loving father, every pest of error and corrupting sin. Dear and precious Lord, you know Steve’s heart and the grief he is struggling with. Be ever present in his thoughts and bring Your comfort and help during this difficult time in his life. Draw Him to You by the power of Your Holy Spirit we pray in the precious Name of Jesus, Amen.
