Please pray for my job situation

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven, Please give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. My boss wants me to stay on for at least another two months, and he likes my proposals - he’s going to review them with the financial people to see whether they could be viable.

So … 🤷

One day at a time, I guess. I suppose I’ll hear back next week about my proposals, and at least I’m going to be okay for the next couple of months.

He also kept repeating what a good worker he thinks I am, and he said that if things don’t work out with the financial people, he would definitely give me a good reference for whatever job comes up next.

I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that, of course … 🙂

Just an update: They have agreed to “let me stay” for another year, if I want to.

I have also applied for another job in another department (and my boss is encouraging me to accept if it is offered to me) but I haven’t heard anything back from the other department, yet.

So, my future is secure for at least another year, anyway (God willing and the creek don’t rise, etc.) - so, thanks for all your prayers! 🙂
 
Praying hard for you. This just happened to my father, we have been praying hard for the past two months and he was hired by another department in the same company.
God works in wonderful ways. Have faith and trust that he will lead you to correct path.
