Most holy St. Anthony, Beloved Friend of Jesus,
I place myself in your heavenly care.
Be with me, especially in life’s troubles and difficulties.
Intercede before the Lord for me,
so that I may confidently know I do not face my problems alone.

I join my prayers to yours, O Great Saint,
as I ask God to give me consolation in times of sorrow,
courage when I am afraid,
and healing from all the ills that afflict me.

Hello Magdelaine1173, God bless you, and thank you for your note! I am sorry to hear about your nephew. I trust that all will go well with him. I understand many children with autism go on to productive lives. We even met a gentleman a few years ago who had been autistic as a child, and was now married, with children, and leading a productive life. To answer your question: At first, when we had our son evaluated, it was thought that our son may have been autistic. They put procedures in place to treat him and evaluate him further. They then told us that it did not appear that he was autistic, but he still needed special education to get him focused. There are more issues, but we’ve been given to understand that with time the other issues will abate with other proper educational protocols. I will also include your nephew in my prayers! Again, I trust all will go well with him! God bless you! You are a caring and wonderful aunt! I will keep praying to St. Anthony for my son also! Thank you for your note again!

Dear Saint Nicholas,

As your feast day approaching on the 6th of december, may you help this thread starter’s child so that he may be better able to function in life. Please help him for he has special needs and needs God’s grace more then most kids.

might I ask what condition he has. I personally have autism, but to a very mild degree. If you want to tell me but not in public you can pm me, or if you don’t want to say so you don’t have to.

Heavenly Father, inspite of some backward movements, we are seeing more forward movement for our son. Father, thank You Father for hearing our pleads for our son, and for hearing the prayers of all the kind people on this site. Thank You Father for the infintisimal blessings of the good people on this site, and for Your Holy Plan for our son and our daughter. For I do believe that in all this struggle, You have You ultimate Holy Plan for our children, and I thank You for the blessings this struggle is bringing for us, especially for our children.
