Hello Everyone, we have been informed by the school that the focusing issues are still a challenge at the school. We had been hoping and praying that it was otherwise…we are just so very sad. We are meeting with the teacher soon…Please continue to pray. We don’t know what to think of anymore…we had been hoping that it would be otherwise…

I know what it’s like to have a member of the family who is considered special needs. My youngest sister has a learning disability; she attends speech classes while still taking regular high school-level courses, and is often given extra time to finish tests and exams because she is not able to process the information as quickly as most of her peers. Despite her weakness in the area of speech and communication, she has shown a proficiency in math and hopes to attend a local Catholic college to study accounting.

Dear Lord, during Your public ministry people brought children to You that You might bless them. Though Your disciples rebuked them, You said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) You love little children so dearly. I pray and ask you, loving God, to place Your hands upon NiceMimi’s son; help his parents and his teachers to be patient with him, and bless this little boy so that he will progress further than before. May those charged with caring for, and teaching him, nurture and guide him during his developmental years to help him reach his full potential. Amen.
