Please pray for my little gerbil

Thankyou to everyone whos been praying-The absyst has now burst, which is good, but its turned into a big red scar Zeke has been scrathing it a lot, so it was bleeding and some of his fur has come out.Im worried in case he damages himself.He no longer seems to be in pain,though,and stills runs and plays normally, but finds the scar very irritting.He is going back to the vet on Thursday…please keep prayig.

put bandages on his paws to stop scratching maybe? not sure if that’s even possible with a gerbil?

Unfortunately,its not possible with a gerbil…His paw is just too small.But he went back to the vet yesterday and the vet said he is definitely improving but theres nothing we can do about the scrathing & when the scar heals,he will stop.He gave me some ointment and medicine for him.He is getting better now,but it might take a long time.
