Please pray for me and my wife (David and Jada). It’s been rocky for a while but it became clear to me tonight that it’s worse than I thought. She basically told me she’s has no hope for us.

Heavenly Father, please bless and shine your light upon David and Jada. Give them strength to overcome all of the difficulties that they are dealing with now and protect them against any and all problems they may encounter in the future. O Lord, please bring them together as they are meant to be. May the love that binds them only grow stronger as they fulfill the destiny you have laid out for them. Grant them forgiveness for any sins they have committed. May they also forgive one another Lord, as it is sometimes difficult to do.

Listen to me , I have gone through that and I have a wonderful marriage but that was not always so I and my wife thought many times every thing was over but now we know the trick.
We know the ABC of spiritual warfare. We know when some thing is going wrong the Demonic forces are working behind the scene then we both go down to our knees and turn to God for help.

Are you aware of the temperaments God gave us. Since discovering about our temperments ( found anywhere you investigate), it has greatly helped our family understand each other’s reasons for why we are drawn to certain behaviors. It isn’t the solution to everything, but it does help put things into perspective and we understand each other and find we are do not take things as personally.

O St. Rita,
Make us understand that a vocation is not only a matter of attraction.
Enable us to see clearly that it is also a matter of finding, in ordinary events, God’s will for us and then accepting it even if it seems to be baffling and contrary to our wishes.
Teach those called to the marriage state by the Lord to reflect deeply on the delicate choice that will influence their destiny.
Let them not be deceived by their feelings; instead, let them look for the solid qualities that keep a home united in the joy of the Lord.
Teach unhappy spouses the power of patience and mildness. Let them not give way to discouragement but, like you, let them save both the happiness of their home and the soul of their spouse.

I see my pastor occasionally for spiritual direction. I have an appointment in about a week and a half. Presently my wife (who is not Catholic) will not cooperate to speak with a priest. Please pray that God softens her heart, that I receive the necessary grace to stay strong and do God’s will, and pray that we can find someone to counsel us who is faithful to Our Lord’s revealed truth regarding marriage.
