Please pray for my marriage

[Struggle]

I am still fighting much sadness and hurt over some issues in my marriage. I was doing better, but lately I seem to be depressed over these things. The hurt caused by my husband and his family is very difficult for me to battle at times, and I pray I have the strength to not let it eat away at me.

Please pray for our marriage as well as for my very special intention that my husband will become Catholic.

I will certainly pray for you. I do think, though, that if your problems with your husband and his family are over your Catholic faith that the best thing you can do is let him practice his faith and you practice yours, in love and fidelity. Nothing persuades others of the truths of the Catholic faith more than someone living them out in love before their eyes. Yes?

I agree, but prayer changes things! Our problems are greater than our faith differences. We do practice seperate faiths and are both extremely devoted. However, I feel that his being Catholic would unite our family and I fervently pray for his change of heart which only the Holy Spirit can bring about!

Struggle,

I pray for you, in the name of Jesus the Christ, that you find comfort and that your husband find his way home to the true Church.

I share your pain, as I have similar problems with my wife. Not sharing the beauty of all the sacraments with your spouse is very painful, especially when some kind of deliberate or callous hurting is involved. You are definitely not alone in this problem.
