Please pray for my mom. She’s in the hospital and they think she’s had a heart attack.
 
She is in my prayers as well. May our Lord guide her doctors and His healing hands restore her to good health. :signofcross:
 
Dear Jesus, You were trembling with exhaustion and shock, and your nerves all screaming with pain, and your heart broken by Your abandonment by most of Your friends. However, You loved Your Mother so much that despite Your dreadful state, You asked John, Your only constant companion to stand by You out of the twelve whom You’d chosen and who had spent the last couple of years with You, to take care of Her for You as if she was his own Son.
In acknowledgement of this love, please be there for GorgerCracker and his Mom in her illness.

Thank You, Jesus
 
Praying for healing for your Mom and for strength for you and the rest of your family as you stand by her during this trial.

A PRAYER FOR THE SICK
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones. And for all Your love’s sake.
Amen.
 
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT ANTHONY,
PERFORMER OF MIRACLES.
Dear St. Anthony,
your prayers obtained miracles during your lifetime.
You still seem to move at ease in the realm of minor and major miracles.
St. Anthony,
Performer of Miracles,
please obtain for me the blessings
God holds in reserve for those who serve Him.
Pray that I may be worthy of the promises
my Lord Jesus attaches to confident prayer.

(Please pray this mother heals from her suspected heart attack.)
 
Thanks so much everyone. I still haven’t heard anything new and I’m very worried.
 
I will be sure to pray for the health of your Mother and for the worry this situation has caused you.

One of my favorite verses to remember when I am worried is this:

“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the Peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7.

Reminding myself of this verse and repeating it has helped me through some trivial times in my life!

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.
