Please pray for my mom!

Hello all-
I’m new to the site and I know how powerful prayers are. I’m hoping to get strength from all of you.

My father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1997. Seeing him through that ordeal still makes me cry because I can remember it all vividly. He passed away in Nov. 1999.

Two days ago, my mother was diagnosed with colon cancer. She is scheduled for surgery next Wednesday, March 14th (my son’s 7th birthday). She had an abdominal CT scan yesterday to see if it has spread anywhere and we’re still waiting for the results, I’m praying that it hasn’t.

Please help me because I cannot lose her, she is my best friend and I would be lost without her.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, one Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who tresspass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amoungst women and blessed is the Fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Please Sacred Heart of Jesus, send Your Spirit of Healing to RParen’s mom; may the surgery be successful, or may she not even need it. Keep both RParen and her mom close to You whatever the outcome and keep their faith in You strong. Amen.
 
Reina God grant that you will find support through CAF as well as through those who love you and your family.
One can only imagine the sadness you feel in the shock of this diagnosis, especially in remembering your Dad’s ilness.

Loving God please carry Reina’s mother and her family through the next few days while they await results of the scans. Please carry them with love, faith, and hope through her treatment. Loving God we entrust the surgery to Your protection.

Please console Reina and grant her urgent prayers.
Lord please give special blessing to Rein’s son on his 7th birthday.
 
May the Lord grant her peace and strength. And may the Lord grant mercy to you and your family.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and comments! You can’t even imagine how thankful I am for all of your kindness and prayers…

We heard back from the doctor this afternoon regarding her abdominal ct scan and were informed that the cancer has spread to her liver and her lungs. My heart hurts just thinking about it but she is keeping strong and courageous.

Please keep the prayers coming…

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said, “Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.” With confidence in Your loving heart which offers rest to weary souls, we come to You in this time of special need.
