Please Pray For My Mom

Hello

My Mom has parkinsons. She’s had for a while now, maybe 5-8 years something like that, but the symptoms(freezing, walking, uncontrolled movement, mental/emotional stuff too I think) have worsened over the past six month’s or so …and we aren’t really sure what to do. Thankfully she is getting back into physical therapy and seeing Dr soon, neurologist too I believe, maybe the meds need to be altered, but really don’t know what to do…I think she’s a bit resigned to the whole thing rather than looking at it with a fighting spirit, but who am I to judge. Anyways just asking for people to include her(and my Dad who trying to make sense of all this) in they’re prayers.

Praying for your mother that relief can be found for some of the symptoms of Parkinson’s and also praying for your father as well.

My late wife had Parkinson’s, I pray that
so and so’s mother be looked after by
doctors and nurses who care about her
body and soul and that the correct med-
ication be prescribed that will maintain a
high quality of life for her. Help her hus-
band as he takes care of her, knowing
that he will be rewarded w/ an inheritance
for his perseverance in care-giving.

I am meditating on the SEVEN
SORROWS of the BVM after
each SORROW, I say a Hail

St. Peter Chrysolgus, your name means “golden speaker”, given to you on account of your eloquent and moving homilies. You were able to make deep theological concepts understandable and relatable. As a deacon merely along for the trip with your bishop to install a new bishop in the Roman capital Ravenna, the Pope was so impressed by you that he named you the Bishop of Ravenna instead. In your day you shot down heresies, evangelized the surrounding pagans, built many churches, and cared especially for the poor.

We ask you to pray that we may show the same zeal for Christ that you did, that we may lead simple and humble lives, and educate the people around us on what it means to be truly Christian. We especially ask you to pray for waxwing’s mother, who suffers from Parkinson’s. Remember her and all other posters in your prayers this day. Amen.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (waxwing’s Mother), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (waxwing’s Mother). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into waxwing’s Mother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
