Please Pray for My Mother and Brother!

Me and my mother aren’t exactly on good terms with one another. We’re total opposites with me being very conservative and Catholic, and her being very liberal and agnostic. We fight a lot, unfortunately, and I feel she is indirectly abusing my brother by letting him sit in his room with his door closed all day playing video games for like 12 hours straight. He has no friends, and he’s addicted because he never wants to leave the house and have real fun. She sees nothing wrong with letting him do this which saddens me. I used to be in his situation and it really messed me up and I hate to see my brother going through the same thing.

Please pray for my family!

I pray that God mends your relationship with your mom and that He guides your brother to other hobbies. Amen.
 
Praying for you to foster a more harmonious relationship with your mother and for your mother to encourage your brother to spread his wings and explore the world more. Amen.

That’s the problem though. I love going out with friends all the time (we often go bowling and stuff), so I usually ask my brother if he’s interested but all he says to me is “Ok Jared”. He refuses to reply in a normal manner which gets frustrating and kinda sad. 😟

I will pray for your intentions, Take care that he doesn’t fall into depression. That may have been what a previous may be concerned about. Many teens who do foolish things start by being depressed loners. He is blessed to have such a cheerful brother in you.

Indeed I am. Probably not for long though as I’m actively seeking gigs at restaurants and bars (a good friend of mine who’s also a musician said that I could probably get away with charging around $500 per gig) and I’m also going for real estate certification over the summer. 👍
