Please Pray for my poor Dad

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
would you please pray for my poor dad?
His name is Charles Thomas R. (R. being the last name’s first initial).

My poor dad’s legs, inexplicably, are horrifically, horrendously swollen, as are his feet ( and not from blood clots, thank God ).
He is also suffering and deteriorating rapidly from osteoporosis.
And to top it off, the poor man for the past two weeks has been passing out and FALLING on average of once a day, sometimes two or three times a day. It’s really scary. Please pray for his healing from Jesus.
Also, he is not a believer. He believes that Jesus is the Messiah, but unfortunately he also believes the Jehovah’s Witness error that Jesus is only a great Creature, an Angel.
Please pray for him also that God will grant him also
full enlightenment, repentance, conversion, final perserverance, and Salvation.

Thank you all so much for praying for my poor sick dad.

Heavenly Father, I ask that you come into Charles’ heart; that he may see you as the one Triune God. Please speak to his spirit at this time. I also ask that you heal this man from all illness. Heal him of body, mind, soul and spirit. He is loved and needed by his family. I also ask for the interecession our Blessed Mother. Please, dear Lady, intercede for us and your Son will not deny our petitions. I ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

My Jesus, pardon and mercy through the merits of Thy Sacred Wounds.

My dad really really needs them.
And when Jesus heals him, I will be sure
and tell him that it was **trinitarian Catholics **who did
all that praying for his healing.
To the Holy Trinity be all Glory !!

I will pray for your father, I will also pray that he will recieve the medical help he needs from doctors, and the spiritial help he needs from the Holy Spirit.

I did not know that JW’s view Jesus that way. I will pray for your dad–that he will heal in body, and spirit, and that he will find great joy in a relationship with Jesus Christ. (and will come to believe that He is our Lord and Savior) God bless you!

COULD I ASK additional fervent prayer for him???
I just took his socks off his enormous feet to soak them in Epsom salts, and have discovered to my horror that his
skin is raw and oozing on his left foot.
I am very frightened for him.
As soon as my mom gets back, which will be soon,
I’m going to calmly talk with her,
call the paramedics and take him to the hospital
to have him heavily dosed with antibiotics.
This is a very bad infection, there is a huge spot
where the top layer of skin is off and the raw skin is
exposed and oozing an awful lot and the smell is horrible.
He won’t want to go to the hospital, but he’s going to have to go.
I can’t let him risk having some kind of Staph infection.
Please pray for him and for me and my mom and sister to at this time, because my mom’s nerves are basically shot and me deciding to put him in the hospital for treatment and observation is going to scare her half to death.

Your mother should be more scared of what might happen if she doesn’t send him to the hospital! :eek: That infection could get into his bloodstream and kill him from septic shock. That’s how my great-aunt died, and it started with a sore on her foot.

Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore Jaypeeto4’s father to health again. We also pray for his conversion and salvation. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us… AMEN
 
Heavenly Father please heal Charles’ body, that he might see the strength of Your healing hand, and be willing to accept all of your revealed Truth. Amen. :harp:

Thanks for your kind prayers.
My mom has no objection at all to sending him for treatment.
She has been having him examined repeatedly for those swollen legs and feet.
This infection is new and she was not aware of it because
my dad is kind of stubborn and would NOT take off, nor let her take off, his socks, for her to look at his feet.

PS: I almost died from blood poisoning in 1986.
I had a “sebauceous cyst” on my forehead, which I thought was
only a large pimple, so I cleaned my face, rubbed alcohol across my forehead, squeezed the “pimple” and only a tad of blood came out, so I put peroxide on it, went to bed, and woke
up with my face swollen as big as a basketball. I looked like
the Elephant Man, only much worse, but had no PAIN.
Still, I met my doctor at the hospital emergency room and he pumped me FULL of KEFLEX antibiotic and told me that I was within a day or two (at most) of death had I not come for treatment right when I did. Scary.
Moral: don’t mess with any blemish on your face.
You have no lymphatic system above the neck,
as I understand it.
