you are all so wonderful…it is a comfort to come to this thread. My son is still doing well, they say, thanks be to God, and my pneumonia is gone. He opens his eyes a little and he smiles sometimes!!

My first daughter was born at 27 weeks. She was 1 lbs. 10 ounces and fit in my hand. She is now three years and three months old. She is healthy and wonderful. She quickly grew but has always had problems gaining weight. We guess she’ll just have to be a super-model.

My preemie was at 26 weeks and was 1lb. 12 oz. and she is now 4 and is also has problems gaining weight (something she did not inherit from her very BIG mommy-- Thank goodness!). Anyways, I grew up with a girl who was a preemie, but was about 3 lbs. Her mom said that gaining weight was the big obstacle for her too. She too became a model. Hmmm…
