Please pray for my sick mother

My mother got hospitalized this Saturday. We thought it was a blood clot in her leg, but it was actually an infection that has now spread to the rest of the body. We don’t know for sure yet how serious it is or if it is a case of sepsis. Either way, me and my mother are both very worried, and my mother fears she will pass way from it. She is going through an aggressive antibiotics treatment, and she is using a respirator. She is in her late 60’s and is already struggling with some health problems.

I am worried this might be a cross given to me for my many grave sins. My father passed away a little more than 2 years ago and I can’t stand the thought of loosing my mother too. I am 23 years old and she means the whole world to me and I am worried sick. I have been home crying for the greater part of the day today.

Please pray for us that God will show us mercy and deliver my mother from this infection. I want nothing more than for her to return home healthy. I am not mentally or financially ready to loose my both my parents yet. I would run over hot coals for her just to bring her home.

Wkek, am praying for your Mom, for you, and for the Medical Doctors that are tending to her now and that will be seen in the future – it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,

Strengthen them in body and soul,

An update: The doctors are saying that she has sepsis (blood poisoning).
