Please pray for my sister

If any of you saw another thread I posted awhile back about my sister crashing our family’s van, this is the same sister… She got herself puking-her guts up, convulsing drunk this past weekend. She’s 16. She’s on anti-depressants(these react with alcohol. making people get drunk faster than they would normally, and I don’t think you’re supposed to drink AT ALL when taking them). She is the MOST stubborn person I know, and only a miracle will get her out of this self-destructive spiral she’s placed herself in(there is more to it than this one incident, believe me). Please, please pray for her! There is nothing else in our family can do right now; my parents have tried everything they can think of, and as she’s 16 now, legally in Canada she can refuse councilling, etc, and she has, claiming it’s everyone else’s problem. 😦 She needs prayers… :gopray2:
 
O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your servant pumpkinbeast’s sister and cure her of every sickness of which she is grieved; and send down upon her Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to her health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Father, this 16 year old girl is in despirate
need of your guidance.
Do what you must to get her attention Lord.
We know that you will sometimes bring us
to our knees for our sake.
We ask for you to send an angel to
protect this girl and her family.
Bring them peace in their home.

I’ll add your sister to my prayers as well. I am dealing with the same issue with my husband. He spent last weekend getting falling down puking drunk and is on anti-depressants. Those of us who have loved ones in this situation will know how you feel about what is going on.

St. Monica, intercede and pray for this girl. Lord Jesus, give her wisdom that she may realize the destructive path she is on and turn away from that which is harming her.

Praying, pumpkin- and have been a parent on the receiving end of such behavior. So, I’m praying for your folks, too.
 
It is in my heart and prayer that your sister will pull out of her self destructive spiral for her own sake and for those that love and care for her…
 
Praying for your sister, and especially that she stops drinking alcohol.
