Please pray for my sister's surgery

I don’t know if I posted this yet or not. Couldn’t find former thread if I did.

My sister is having surgery on October 5th. It is semi-serious surgery. She is in need of lots of prayers as she is in a ton of pain and can’t work due to the pain. She has three children, two of which are Autistic and require much physical and mental energy she doesn’t have due to this condition. Please pray for her now, and to have a safe surgery, and a speedy recovery. Please pray also for me as I am going up there the week of the surgery to help out. Please pray for my physical and mental strength as I am sick myself. Thanks so much. God bless you all!

Lord, I remember posting a prayer in Convert 99’s old thread for her and her sister; I will post another prayer.

Lord, may Convert 99’s sister have a successful surgery and a quick recovery; may Convert 99 have the strength to be able to care for her sister without getting sicker herself; may she be be blessed with special graces to make her caregiving a job that is easy and light. I pray also for Convert 99’s sister’s children that they may recieve special graces from you to be able to get along well and with little difficulty while their mother is sick. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Prayed for Convert and her sister…

Lord, there has been too much change in my life recently,
and I feel overwhelmed.
Because I try to be a responsible person,
I sometimes forget that it is unwise for me
to allow my sense of duty to override my common sense.
Lord, help me to allow myself more time to rest,
relax, and pray.
Guide me toward something spiritual to read every day
and a quiet time afterwards
to reflect on what I have read
and how it pertains to my life.
I truly want to simplify my life
and live more as Christ did.
Help me remember that there is no loss
or problem that I must face alone.
You are always near,
with Your love and compassion to comfort me.
