Please pray for my son Joe

My son has worked so hard toward becoming a doctor and today/this weekend he finds out if he matches into an orthopedic surgery residency. He is very worried he won’t match. He has devoted all his time and studies to this goal for the last eight years and now it comes down to whether he matches. I pray with all my heart that, if it is God’s will, my son match. If it is not God’s will that my son match, I pray with everything in me that my son be strengthened to realize and understand that God’s will is always right and always perfect. God has a plan for my son please let my son accept God’s plan with humility and joy. I ask this in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus I trust in you! Amen

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Blessed St. Anthony, in life you were ever mindful
of the needs of the afflicted, consuming yourself
in the service of God and for the good of souls.
Beloved St. Anthony, please beseech God to grant
Joe a position as an orthopedic surgeon. May he
always use his talents to help those who are in pain.

Thank you all for your prayers! Joe did not match. However I know God has a plan and his plan is perfect! I pray Joe’s finds the path God has for him quickly. I thank God for all the many blessings he has bestowed on my entire family! I pray God bless everyone that has prayed for my intention and all of the intentions expressed in this form.

UPDATE: Again thank you for your prayers! My heart is full with gratitude and awe! Normally after the match there are no Ortho residency programs open. This year there was one, and my son was selected for the only Ortho program left in the Country! God answered the prayers. St Jude and Mother Mary interceded. Prayer is powerful!!! My heart is so filled with gratitude to God - it is bursting! I still pray however for any other 4th year medical students that do not yet have residencies. God help them, be with them, and show them their path. I ask this through Jesus Christ our lord and savior!
