Please pray for my son Stage 4 cancer

This last week my 34 year old son was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer with the lymph nodes adjacent to the tumour affected.

They have finally fallen pregnant, after trying for the last 3 years and the baby is due in November.

Please pray for them, that this cancer can be beaten and that my grandchild may grow up with his/her father, that my son will fully return to the sacraments, that his wife will come to know and love God.

O God, who in Thine unspeakable providence didst vouchsafe to choose blessed Joseph to be the spouse of Thine own most holy Mother: grant, we beseech Thee, that we may deserve to have him for our intercessor in heaven, whom we reverence as our defender on earth: who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen**

Dear Linda Marie, I’ll pray for your son, and all of the intentions you listed.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety.

Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain the the healing of Linda Marie’s son, and the intentions of her heart.

The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

Lord God, I pray for Linda Marie’s son. Please bless him with Your mighty healing power so that he can be restored to the best possible health. Bless his doctors and nurses with Your wisdom and healing power so that they may be true instruments of Your healing power. May his treatments prolong his life so that he can see his child grow and so that his child will grow up with a father.

Bless his wife and their unborn child. Take away her sorrow and please grant her peace. Comfort her and be a source of solace for her. Lord God, I lift up to you this family…

All these I ask in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother of Perpetual Help, and through the intercession of St. Peregrine. AMEN.

Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine, you answered the divine call with a ready spirit, and forsook all the comforts of a life of ease and all the empty honors of the world to dedicate yourself to God in the Order of His holy Mother.
You labored manfully for the salvation of souls. In union with Jesus crucified, you endured painful sufferings with such patience as to deserve to be healed miraculously of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch of His divine hand.
Obtain for me the grace to answer every call of God and to fulfill His will in all the events of life. Enkindle in my heart a consuming zeal for the salvation of all men.
Deliver me from the infirmities that afflict Linda Marie’s son.
Obtain for me also a perfect resignation to the sufferings it may please God to send me, so that, imitating our crucified Savior and His sorrowful Mother, I may merit eternal glory in heaven.

Will be praying a divine mercy chaplet and he’ll be in my thoughts+prayers.
