He’s had his first chemo treatment and while not as bad as he was expecting, it was still unpleasant. He said he was at least 40 years younger than anyone else getting treatment that day. In fact, the ward nurses initially thought he was a visitor.
Because his case is so unusual, he has a whole cadre of oncologists pooling their expertise to help him. Please pray for them as well.
I asked for some more detail of the diagnosis. The tumour has affected not only the adjacent lymph nodes, but other lymph nodes through his abdomen as well. The oncologists believe that that indicates that at least one other organ has been affected, but they don’t know which. Because of his youth and otherwise good health, they say there is a good prognosis, but I think there is no hope to beat this medically. He needs a miracle.
Blessed Mary, Ever-virgin, St. Joseph, St Francis, St Peregrine, and all the saints, pray for David.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into this son’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction.
