Please pray for my son, to find friends

My 10-year-old son is on the autism spectrum. He has always had a very difficult time making friends. It took him years, but he finally made two good friends… and then we had to move. He is very lonely and missing his friends a lot. We have lived in our new home for almost a year and he has not made any new friends. Please pray for my son. It is my greatest mother’s wish for him to find a true friend who will be there for him, make him smile, and help him grow close to God.

Please also pray for me, that I might find a good teaching job. I just finished my student teaching and haven’t found a job yet. My family is in a very bad way financially and we desperately need the second income. Thank you.

Your prayers mean the world to me. Every time I have ever posted a request to his forum, my prayers were heard in some way or another. I truly believe it pleases God when we come together as a spiritual family in this way.
 
I pray that the Lord grants your son some friends, that He grants you a good job and that He takes away the stress on your family. Amen.

Hello katiecall87, I would start by telling you not to despair. Remember that with God all is possible.

Christ told us God knows our needs even before we request them to Him. Hardships test our faith in God and also our virtues. It is what makes us grow and shows God who we are putting our trust in.

I will however pray for both you and your son, I would encourage you specially to pray to our Blessed Mother Mary. Naturally we present our requests to Her, but it is also good to thank Her for all the blessing we have on our lives.
