Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.

Prayer for a sick child

O most beloved Saint Gerard
who, like the Savior, loved children
and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death,
listen to us who are pleading for this sick child.
We thank God for the great gift of all children
and ask God to restore this child to health if such be His holy will.
This favor we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers.
Amen
 
Loving God,

We lift up our intentions today for the son of xyneshia and ask for your mercy, blessings, and healing for him, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant him relief from his trials, and send competent and compassionate health care professionals into his life. Please also comfort the family members and friends who are so concerned for this young one. We know you love this child of your, please help all involved to trust in your divine providence.
