Please pray for my son

I have been a lurker for a long time, remembering many in my prayers, but now I need to ask for prayers for my son, please. He has been caught up in a horrible legal mess. His employer is in trouble & because he is an employee my son has been dragged into the mess. We can’t afford to hire an expensive lawyer so he will have to use a public defender. Please pray that the judge & jury will see that he is an innocent young man. He is a wonderful young man any parent would be proud of, really. We feel desperate. I have been saying 5 different novenas, praying almost constantly but it doesn’t seem like my prayers are being heard but I will not give up. Any prayers you would be so kind to add to mine would be greatly appreciated.
This is my first time posting on a board so if I didn’t do it correctly, I apologize.

Prayer For Inner Peace

Lord, please put Your peace in my heart. I’m worried and anxious. My mind races and obsesses. I can’t help thinking about my problems. And the more I think about them, the more depressed I become. I feel like I’m sinking down in quicksand and can’t get out. Calm me, Lord. Slow me down, put Your peace in my heart.

No matter what problem I have, Lord, You are bigger, You are more powerful than it is. So I bring my problem to You. I know what I want. I know my will. I do not know Yours. I do not know how You will use this problem for my salvation. I do not know what good You will workout at this evil. But I trust You. I trust Your Goodness and Your Wisdom. So I place myself in Your hands. Please fill my heart with peace.

Thank you for the beautiful prayer! The first part is exactly how I’m feeling. It’s such a comfort to know I’m not praying for him alone anymore.

I understand the court system is terrifing.
Especially if you are innocent.

Praying that your son will be abandoned to God’s merciful love full of confidence in His merciful love. May your son be protected by his Guardian Angel and by St. Michael and all the Holy Angels. May God intervene and keep your son from being falsely accused and blamed. May your son love God’s holy will, and may God’s holy will be done in his life with no obstacles to His will. Amen.

That your son may find ways to get out of the legal mess, we pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
