Please Pray for My Son

My 15 year-old son was hospitalized for severe depression in April. The medications are helping him to improve. Unfortunately, now he has an internet video game addiction and plays 10-12 hours per day. My husband has undermined my attempts at curbing his usage. He is a good father, but is weak when it comes to discipline. Please pray that my son will be healed of his addiction so that he may fully recover from his addiction.

Lord, please touch this son and heal his every affliction, whether spiritual or physical. Lead him with holy angels always toward healthy habits, and to protect him from all sin. Send many graces to him and his family, that they ever cultivate faith, hope, love, joy, and fortitude. Lead them joyfully toward the eternal garden of life. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
 
Seems like it is a day to pray for the children…

I am so happy for him and your family that the medications are helping him. That is a real blessing.

I pray that he would be set free of video game addiction and any other bondages in his life. May his emotional health continue to improve. Amen. :signofcross:
 
Heavenly Father please flow Your wisdom and mercy into the needs and troubles of Caties’ family.
Please bless Catie and her husband with united healthy parenting of their troubled son.
Bless Catie’s son with a wholesome mind and attitude, and enable him to choose to live his life according to the command to love God above all and others as self, developing his abilities, and living the life You created him to be.
I ask this in the name f Jesus Your Son.
