Please pray for my 17 year old son who is in a unhealthy relationship with a girl. They have been seeing each other for just a short time. We have met her. She is not Catholic, nor Christian and encourages ungodly behavior.

Pray that God would bring new friends (Catholics) into his life that would encourage him in faith and love. Please pray he will have wisdom to choose godly companions.

Also, please pray for my husband and I as parents that we have wisdom and grace to guide him.

Lord, please touch this son by your loving hand, and guide him with the prompts and counsel of holy angels. Instill in him the grace to recognize holy wisdom and the faith, hope, love, joy, and courage to embrace it. Lead all persons involved ever closer to the eternal garden of life. Through this matter, purify them all, this family, this son, this girl, and all involved. Bless them with many graces and profound vision to penetrate the enveloping darkness that prowls this world. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

A Prayer for My Son or Daughter

Merciful Father, give my teen insight so that he can find wholesome friendships. Give my teen the wisdom to stay away from those who would lead him into sin. Give him understanding, so that he lives a pure, chaste life. Grant him respect, so that he will obey his parents, while learning to be his own person. We ask this through Christ the Lord, amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give your son & you & your husband guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
Loving God, shine the Truth and Light on this relationship to this son and help him to see the error in continuing it. Guide him by your Holy Spirit into more healthy relationships and that He can sense a need for YOU. Guide these his parents with wisdom from above we ask in the name of Your Beloved Son, Jesus, Amen.

Father, we pray that you will speak to the heart of this young man
so that he will unconsciously be taking note of words and actions
that are not uplifting and with the help of his Guardian Angel,
I pray that he will be protected from harm.
Keep his eyes open so that he will come to realize that this is not
a healthy relationship and that he really doesn’t want to be a part of it after all.
With his parents, we ask that you will bring new friends into his life who would
encourage him in faith and love and that his heart will be open enough to
recognize the difference. I also lift his parents up before you and ask that
you will give them the wisdom to know how to guide him in this day
of so many deceptions, and give them the grace to be able to wait when
things don’t immediately turn around.
We turn to you with open hearts, dear Lord, and thank you for all that you have done
and are doing in each of our lives and help us to keep encouraging each other
to continue to walk in Your Ways. We ask this is Jesus Name, AMEN.
