Please pray for my son

Hello:

Please pray for my son. He graduated from college last May and he still has not found that first “real job” after college. He just learned yet again that a job he had really high hopes for has been filled. He didn’t even get called in to interview for it.

Please pray that
  1. He finds work. (He has a job on campus, but it is intended for current students so it surely can’t hold on for much longer.)
  2. He and I not fall into despair. (I’m trying to help him but he doesn’t want to listen to his mother – after all, what do I know? ;))
  3. That I not be a nag.

I pray he finds his station. Do not despair.

Your words remind me to be thankful for my own employment. To work hard even on those days where I wish I could slack a bit.

Praying to St. Joseph for your son to secure employment. Praying to the Holy Spirit to give him guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in his time of need.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
 
Gracious St Joseph, protect my family and all other families from danger, as you did protect the baby Jesus and His mother from the wrath of king Herod.

Pray for us, that we respect, love and care for each other in our family as you were with Mary and Jesus. Help us to be understanding and forgiving towards each other.

Most of all St Joseph, bring us closer to Jesus. St Joseph, please pray for our family. Amen.
 
God, our Father, we turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as this young man looks for suitable employment. He needs your wisdom to guide his footsteps along the right path, and to lead him to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. He wishes to use the gifts and talents you have given him, but he need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon him, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant him this favor we seek so that he may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this Father through Christ, our Lord. with the Holy Spirit Amen.
