Please pray for my uncle

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

Please pray for my uncle Russell. He just broke his back while leaning over for some shampoo while in the bathtub. He is in excruciating pain even with pain medication. The doctors are not sure why his back broke just leaning over and they are searching for underlying causes (he is only in his early sixties). There is also a concern that he may have cancer. I ask you to pray to God that, if it be His will, my uncle will be fully healed. Or, if it be His will for my uncle to suffer longer, that He may be drawn to God during this trial and that his sufferings will be united to the sufferings of Christ.

Heavenly Father,

I give thanks and praise to You for my uncle’s life. Be glorified, Father God, for all you have done and are doing in Russell’s life. If it be your will, please heal his back and any underlying causes for this injury. Help him endure his suffering patiently and let his suffering draw him to You. Please unite all of Russell’s sufferings to those of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

I wanted to let you know that Our Lord has heard our prayers and my uncle is doing just fine. Yesterday, he had an innovative new surgery. He had two compressed discs and a fractured spine. The doctors were able to repair everything. Prior to the surgery, my uncle was in excrutiating pain. Upon waking up, he had absolutely no pain and has already been released from the hospital (surgery was late Wednesday!). Thank you all for your prayers. I also thank Our holy Mother and any saints in light who interceded on our behalf for my uncle.

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for your healing mercy upon my uncle. You are a good and generous God! Be glorified Lord God for all You have done in Russell’s life and for hearing the prayers of Your children.

Blessed are You, loving Father,
For all your gifts to us.
Blessed are You for giving us family and friends
To be with us in times of joy and sorrow,
To help us in days of need,
And to rejoice with us in moments of celebration…

Father,
We praise You for Your Son Jesus,
Who knew the happiness of family and friends,
And in the love of Your Holy Spirit.
