I humbly ask for prayers for my wife. She’s been very sick since a few days before Christmas. Long story short, after numerous doctor visits, tests & trips to the emergency room, she’s finally been diagnosed with Endocarditis. This is a very dangerous infection of one of her heart valves. The doctor who was able to diagnose it was very concerned, as this condition left untreated is fatal. She has been admitted to the hospital since Friday, March 9th and the doctor has her on I.V. antibiotics trying to clear up and stop the progression of the infection. The general opinion is that she is possibly out of immediate danger. She is scheduled for a procedure tomorrow morning that should help determine whether or not she will require heart valve replacement surgery. In addition to that, she will have to be on the I.V. antibiotics for a minimum of four to six weeks. Thank God, she has felt a tiny bit better since she has been on the antibiotics, and her appetite has increased a small amount. She has a very long road ahead of her though, and I believe that prayer and the healing power of God will be of equal or greater importance in her recovery than the efforts of the doctors. Thankfully, the doctor that is handling her treatment told me he is a God fearing, Christian man who welcomes help from prayers and faith. So in closing, once again, I beg for any prayers that could be said for my wife’s full recovery. Thank you all and may God richly bless you.
