Please Pray for My Wife's Surgery

A few months ago my wife had carpal tunnel surgery on one hand, this Thursday she’s headed back to get the other one done. I just started a new job with a long commute and am in a probationary period so I’m unable to take any time off to stay home while she recovers. Please pray for her doctor and attending medical staff, that her surgery and recovery go well. And for help during her recovery with all the things she does for myself and our kids- getting them to and from school, making lunches and dinners, and just generally making our house a home.

I’m praying for your wife. May God make the surgery go smoothly and may He grant her a quick recovery. Lastly, I pray that God helps her in the area of household things, like taking your kids to school. Amen.

Prayer for the Apprehensive Patient

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms. May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (RKS89’s wife). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into RKS89’s wife’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
